Global Product Model (GPM)
Raytio's Global Product Model (GPM) is the product and service catalogue that powers the marketplace. It represents every sellable, bookable, or comparable item — from radiology procedures to insurance products to beauty services — in a consistent, tenant-scoped model.
GPM answers three questions:
- What exists? Items with typed metadata (products, services, categories, plans).
- How is it organised? A category hierarchy that determines how users browse the catalogue.
- What can a user do with it? Call-to-action buttons (Compare, Quote, Book) resolved per item or inherited from ancestor categories.

Explanation
Conceptual documentation that explains how the GPM module works:
- Data Model Overview — how items, categories, attributes, relationships, and actions fit together
- Items — products, services, and materials; lifecycle and metadata
- Categories and Hierarchies — how categorisation and catalogue nesting works
- Attributes and Values — extensible metadata on items
- Relationships — BELONGS_TO_CATEGORY and other relationship types
- Actions (CTAs) — marketplace call-to-action configuration and inheritance
- Resource Settings — resource-level authorisation policy limits per item
