Raytio Privacy Policy
We collect personal information from you, including information about your:
- name, gender and date of birth;
- contact information including physical address, email and phone details;
- driver licence, passport, birth, and citizenship details;
- computer or network that you use to access our services including location if you choose to share that with us;
- interactions with us;
- billing or purchase information; and
- employment, income, expense, asset and liability information.
We collect your personal information in order to:
- store that information securely on your behalf; and
- verify your information with authoritative sources; and
- (with your permission) allow you to share that verified information with third parties so they can confirm your identity when performing customer due diligence and complying with laws such as anti-money laundering regulations.
With your permission, we share this information with:
- relevant third parties (such as government agencies), in order to validate your personal information such as name, date of birth, driver licence, passport, citizenship and address; and
- specific third parties that you nominate to share the information with as part of their due dilgence and identification processes.
Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter personal information, we'll be unable to provide information verification or onboarding services.
We keep your information safe by storing the personal information that you provide to us in an encrypted format using keys that only you have access to. Our staff do not have access to your personally identifiable information. Third parties do not have access to your personally identifiable information unless you share your information with them.
Analytics and cookies
This documentation site uses first-party analytics cookies to measure how our documentation is used so we can improve it. Specifically:
- We use PostHog as our analytics provider. Analytics requests are routed through a Raytio-controlled subdomain (
analytics.rayt.io), so the cookies set on your browser are first-party cookies belonging to.rayt.io. - The cookies record an anonymous identifier that lets us count unique visitors and follow anonymous navigation across our sites (
www.rayt.io,docs.rayt.ioandapp.rayt.io). They do not contain your name, email, or any other information that identifies you personally. - We do not use third-party advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies on this site.
- We collect standard page-view information (URL, page title, referrer, browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address) and interactions with page elements (for example, which links or buttons are clicked). This information is used solely to improve the documentation and product.
You can opt out of analytics at any time by enabling your browser's "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" setting, by blocking cookies for this site in your browser settings, or by using a browser extension that blocks analytics scripts.
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
