Billing (PBM)
Raytio's Billing (PBM) capability manages subscriptions, plan changes, usage-based charges, invoice generation, and plan-based access. It connects pricing from PCM with customer billing in FAR so tenants can sell recurring or metered services.
Entitlements are part of this billing solution. A subscription does more than create charges: it also determines which features and limits are available to a tenant or customer. Those billing-derived capabilities are enforced alongside normal user permissions.
What Billing (PBM) covers
- Billing subscriptions — recurring agreements between tenants and customers.
- Subscription lines — the individual priced products or services on a subscription.
- Usage-based billing — metered events, aggregation rules, and billable quantities.
- Billing transactions — the link from subscription activity to generated invoices.
- Plan capabilities — feature access, quota limits, trials, and upgrades derived from subscriptions.
