GPM Data Model Overview
The GPM data model is built around a single master item catalogue connected to four supporting concepts — categories and hierarchies, attributes and values, relationships, and actions (CTAs). Understanding how these relate is the key to understanding how Raytio's product catalogue works.
Item Actions (CTAs)
Item actions define the call-to-action (CTA) buttons displayed in the marketplace for each item — for example "Compare", "Get a Quote", or "Book Now". Actions can be defined directly on a leaf item or on a category ancestor and inherited downward, so that an entire category of items shares the same CTAs without duplication.
Menus and Navigation
The platform uses a fully data-driven menu system rather than hard-coded navigation. This enables role-based visibility, per-tenant customisation, dynamic schema binding, and hierarchical menu structures that nest to arbitrary depth.
