You can securely store information of various categories with Raytio. These categories are pre-defined by Raytio or may be created by other organizations to capture information that is relevant to them.

Every project has metadata that doesn't fit into predefined fields. Cost centres, risk ratings, compliance classifications, custom priority schemes — these vary by organisation and even by project. Raytio PPM handles this through categories and custom attributes, a structured extension mechanism that lets you add typed fields to work items without changing the schema.

The PPM module provides two ways to classify work items: labels and categories. They serve different purposes and operate at different scopes. This page explains the distinction.

To share your data with others, you need to add categories to your profile

You can set the permissions on any of your profile items.

You can share the categories on your profile with others. You can make them public so anyone can view that information, make them only available to Raytio users or only available to select people you have shared it with.
